Pay it Forward Scholarships, founded in 2010, is incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia, is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and is recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as a qualified student scholarship organization (SSO) under Georgia law. 

Pay it Forward Scholarships are funded by the Qualified Education Expense (QEE) Tax Credit program through donations made by individuals, small businesses, and large corporations. Anyone who pays Georgia income taxes can request and be approved for a QEE Tax Credit. The taxpayer has the ability to designate their funds to a particular school AND receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit from Georgia. Georgia provides taxpayers with this incredible opportunity to use their tax dollars, which they are required to pay, to support families who feel a private school education best meets their child’s needs.

Pay it Forward Scholarships provides scholarships to Pre-K through 12th grade students attending accredited private schools in Georgia.
